@BrokenReefer here's a great group of people if you are looking for people to hang out with and chat. We love tacos, Reef tanks, fish, horses, dogs, cats, dogs and cats, more tacos, and food.
lol thanks - it wasn’t really a call for friends as much as dad jokes.

Sadly that’s the phase of life I’m in, everything is a bad Progressive commercial to me.

We've got lots of dad jokes here too! Well, Kevin tries anyway.

This is a great group with a great sense of humor!

Hey Joel, figured I'd tell you here instead of the RODI thread:

Did you know that chloramines are just chlorine binding with ammonia? 1 part chlorine to 1, 2, or 3 parts ammonia?

I almost got a McCafe Latte today but they didn't have any available on the app.

I had no idea about that Tim thank you!
I just remember somewhere I heard that chloramines can't be filtered out and it damages the membrane.
Have no idea where I heard that or even if it's correct.
Are chloramines more dangerous than chlorine?

Chloramines are more dangerous than chlorine but they have a shorter life. We add chlorine to water enough to off gas the ammonia and keep a residual. Some utilities use chloramines because they're stronger oxidizers but they're not as stable and can cause higher carcinogens in the water if there's organics present I believe.

Thank you Tim!
So much more toxic in the marine environment and to all fish in general?
