Problem is up here you can go out and sit all season and not see a single deer :expressionless-face: this spring I'm building a hunting shack and I'll live out in the friggin thing. I may need to buy a controller so my tank makes it :face-with-tears-of-joy:

There was onetime this season that I was hunting a big field and I stopped counting at 30 deer. There were two small spikes a know head and the rest were does and fawns.

Biggest deer I have ever shot was a 10 point and he was probably close to 95 pounds.

I have 41 acres out back i hunt but it's all woods and swamp. I think i might clear some shooting lanes and open it up a bit soon but I don't want to scare off the deer for the season from all the commotion so I'll do it early spring

We lease from two farmers in Georgia and between the two we probably have around 700 acres and there's 5 of us that hunt. The lease has been in the family for about 40 years now.

I am not sure what they have out west but I know some places have brought in exotic deer but those hunts are way out of my price range. LOL

Oh my gosh that is sad!!! We didn't get as many as we would have liked. We got 7 total but 4 of them were small does. I hunt in Georgia even though we live in NC and we are allowed 10 does and 2 bucks each but we normally are good with 8 or 9 total for the year as long as they are decent sized.

I got 10 bucks this year but then I stopped at McDonalds and got a kids meal and all the bucks were gone. :crying-face:
