Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
yes I saw this tank a year or so ago...I think it was like 15000 or more gallons in his basement living area house is in NY like hudson river area or something like that...and there is a crew that takes care of the tank like 24/7...or at least that is what I saw in the walk through video years ago...

wow cheap...just looked on line some are going for 1400.00
A lot less expensive than what tail spot Blennys are going for these days!

Yes, lots of videos of this tank and mist everyone has seen it in some way.

But this one was done at such a professional lvl, I felt it’s a keeper

@Katrina71 @kevgib67 So question:

Those burly man in black you sent to my door last week inquiring whether I had a tailspot on my premises…

doesn’t my new Mel Warsse qualify me to be in the club? He is called a tail-spot wrasse.

I saw a budget few weeks ago for I think a 5 foot tank 50k usd (coral and fish was 10k) I was like what....
hmm I probably in for at least half that for the 300 acrylic I have, tank, fiberglass stand, lights, sump etc. The reef octopus 300 int skimmer I just got a few months ago was 1k but found it on sale 900.00...It does add up over time as we all upgrade and get new stuff..big plus I have no kids....to cost me $$$$$

It is sure an expensive hobby but you have a 8ft, 5ft is still standard size tank with a lot of standard equipment.
