Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Thanks Kevin, you guys are really awesome. I'm trying to save this guy. Keith says he has some cipro, I'm trying to save him some trouble first.
Kevin has solid advice on turning off skimmer and removing carbon. Also, dose at night after lights off. The light will break down the antibiotics quite quickly. Hence, most antibiotics bottles are dark and/or in white plastic bottles to protect them from light.

That's super kind brother. Do you think I could find some locally at the lfs or something near me, to save you the trouble. Is it hard to come by? I feel pretty clueless about this lol
This is where I get mine without a prescription but If you have a relationship with your vet show him a pic of your coral so he/she understands what you’re using it for they should write you a script.

All of these are Great. I think David Gilmour was a huge inffluence to guys like Vai and Satriani, you can hear his music in theirs. I'm into the older stuff, the beginnings of the Genre. Richie Blackmore's stuff with rainbow is groundbreaking. Shenki Chen was a Japanese virtuous in the same time period as Hendrix. He'll knock your socks off.
There are some excellent country guitarists out there since you brought up Roy Clark. Chet Atkins could shred, and Glenn Campell was an underrated guitarist too.
Gilmour is a genius.
I'm not too well versed on the music in these conversations. Just wasn't my thing at the time.
Mine was on a far different end.
But I am a music nut and was definitely far into Floyd in college, within reason. ;)

Pink Floyd is one of the greatest. Their music at the time was ground breaking.

Make perfect sense to me. I have Amoxicillin and that's it. Would that be helpful in anyway? 500mg tablets It seems like a big effort/expense for you to send me those buddy.

Have you heard Gilmour's new album, Luck and Strange? It is some of his best work imo. His daughter is on some of the tracks, singing. Excellent jams.

Yes.
That's why he's a genius John.
He's 79 years old.

I have David Gilmour album on cassette, Joel can you explain the cassette thing.

The thing with amoxicillin is the dosage is higher. Most use cipro since it's cheaper to use it. Both will work. Amoxicillin breaks down the bacteria wall, while Cipro stops reproduction.

I carried a pencil in my car just in case I my cassette deck "ate" one of my cassettes. If you know... you know! LOL

Ok, but... I'd order some for the future.. you never know when you'll need it!
Kevin can chime in and share some of his excellent advice as well.
The offer still stands my friend, if you want it, just DM me your address and I'll send it tomorrow.

Amoxicillin will work as well if you have some at home since Cipro and Amox are both broad spectrum antibiotics. After you treat your tank, I'd make sure you have something like Microbacter 7 on hand to help populate your tank. Some say it decreases bacterial levels, other say it doesn't. It wouldn't hurt to have some on hand though.
I can find the dosing on that as well.
Kevin may be able to chime in to.
I dose 5ml of Microbacter7 every week, I have been doing it for more than a year

Done! You are the man!

Does anyone know how to remove the motion from my profile picture?
I think it's an April Fools thing, it should stop later tonight.
