Lol! No, just building the collection of animals I want. It's hard because I'm waiting on the other tank and there are corals I want...but real-estate is running out.

Whew can I ever relate to that one Mike

I think most men do. We are taught and/or raised to always be strong and not show emotion except possibly anger. Now, I can't say that about the "younger" generation of "men"...I use that term lightly. I'm not talking about anyone on here, so far I've noticed we (the guys) all work, have families and provide. Its the 25ish and younger I see it who are confused about...you can fill that part in...and expect a handout rather than busting their hump and earning it. I apologize and will step off my soap box. If I offended anyone on here, it wasn't meant that way. Just my .02 cents. With inflation like it is, it's not worth that anyway! Lol!

That's awesome! I've been a RN for 20 years, Army for 21. Part of my nursing career was in the Army. I stated that because that makes me sound OLD if you add it up! LOL!

Being kind helps us as much as it helps those we're being kind to. You don't realize it until you've lived some life and felt some pain, I think. It makes a good person want to ease the struggles of others as much as they can.

Same here. I met my wife in Sunday school when we were 13. It wasn't until we were 32 that we got together and had two beautiful boys. God knew what was best and his timing was perfect. Just like with you guys.

He does have a plan. He knew the timing wasn't right for you and Emyi (Lord, I hope I got that right). I need to start keeping notes.

In my professional life, it's Keith. A few call me Rock.
In the military it was Rock.

My biggest problem is I'll sometimes hold people, mostly those closest to me, to the same standard as I hold myself. Which is often times unrealistic, and when they under perform, which is honestly perfectly understandable because they don't even know the unrealistic expectations exist, i get frustrated. I've gotten a lot better though.

Nailed it on the head my friend. We are always the hardest on ourselves. Probably ingrained by our parents...read that as our father's.

Especially the guys! Lol We spend so much time being the shield, or the wall, or hel!, whatever we are needed to be, that sometimes we need someone to say i got your back too brother. Nothing is more awesome to me than a group of grown good hearted folks that can say, life is difficult, but there is always a way to find beauty in it.
