This is the first I’ve heard of this, what is going on with the weeping willow and what caused your phosphate to bottom out? I thought you ran them on the higher side.

Doing quite well. I understand the yard work, couple that with house work and that was my weekend.

Do you have anything to dose phosphates Luis?

An old joke. He chose to not share his name so the crew here chipped in and hired a private investigator who discovered that his name was Rumpelstiltskin.

My friend Luis, who sold me the weeping willow, had a leak in his tank and almost all of his corals died, so he talked me into selling him a piece of my weeping willow, which I ended up giving him. I didn't want to cut it down, but my dad wanted to too, and in the end I made a mistake that I'm paying now. It's my fault for agreeing to cut it down. My friend came as a pro with all his utensils because he's been doing this for many, many years. Well, the result is that his and my dad's are perfect, but mine is slowly dying, and I don't know what to do anymore.

Regarding the phosphates, I was very happy keeping them at 0.4 until I had to change the reactor contents (rowaphos). I don't know why, because I didn't change anything on the timer or anything, but the new bag brought my PO4 down to 0.01 in a day or less. I realized right away why the Acan got bad and has been like that since then

im sorry luis. ive got something going on with some of my zoas. no idea what. ive carefully looked for pests but i dont see anything. such a bummer to lose something
Good morning Jill, sorry about your zoas.

Do we still have to keep waking him up?

What's going on with your zoas Jill? Do you have a thread where I can see what's going on?

Are the Zoas all together? Mine fight each other, the Bam Bam are winning, and the Super Saiyans come in second.

At least you caught it and know what the issue is. I'm assuming you took it offline?
Do you have a pic of your toadstool Luis? When I fragged the one I had in my old system, it sulked for a while, did not look happy at all, but it bounced back.

Sorry Luis. First never trust a reefer named Luis! Did you dip it in iodine after it was fragged? The cut could have introduced an infection, do you have Cipro on hand. Man that is a huge drop in phosphate, do you have reefroids on hand?

I can't get the toadstool out because it's attached to two different rocks.
