I think it takes like a month or so.

It took that long in my tank and I had way less aiptasia and a smaller tank. Im still hopeful

Ya, it’s usually not the first ones that you introduce but the second and third and fourth generations that get the job done. Patience young Jedi.

The berghia I got were massive and then after a while I saw the very small, newly hatched berghia. This past week, I saw an adolescent or mid-size berghia. This tells me, maybe there is something left to sustain them for now. But I dont have a lot of rockwork that I can't see and there is no aiptasia visible anywhere.

you guys know waaaay more than I do. I remember it took forever for them to crawl out of the jar. the instructions said turn lights and flow off and place whole jar in tank on side near aiptasia and let them crawl out. once they crawl in rocks, you can turn flow back on. found out later though you are supposed to place them all in one spot so they can get jiggy with it and start multiplying. I placed mine in 3 opposing spots since I had 3. I did see them occasionally weeks later and the aiptasia disappeared but I never saw them after about 2 months. so I think mine just ate what was there. you are only at like 2 weeks?

If they're in there, they're going to eat it. They dont eat anything else, and they have plenty available. And they only way they wouldn't be in there, is if they were eaten or have died for some unknown reason. If these guys dont work for you Joel, I'd say, somehow they aren't surviving in the tank. Do you suspect predation from the trigger?
I was also thinking that since these were so big, they could be tucked away giving birth. Mine came out and were visible immediately though, you're right.

yeah, the trigger would be my guess. but if they crawled into the rocks, I think they should be OK.

Since they are nocturnal I never saw them until the aptasia were gone and they were searching for food and neither did my wrasse because he was sleeping while they were getting the job done.
