Thought I should share but I had a new coral addition from yesterday. I am really not sure its name because I got it on a deal from a LFS that is closing (they have a different location but they are closing one of the two locations & were discounting the live stock instead of moving it, it was kinda a drive too lol). I assume it’s some type of frogspawn or octospawn or something like that. It kind of reminds me of a tiger torch with the orange hue in the middle. It sure had a lot of hitchhikers from its dip. If anyone knows what type it is let me know lol.

Looks ore like a crawdad !
Nah, it's a pistol shrimp for sure, that's why one claw is bigger and shaped like that.

It looks like a frogspawn or Frammer. You're right though, the coloration is really unique! I know this isn't the typical question, but do you have any pics of it under blue light?
Guess I was late ! What’s a frammer ?

I haven't added anything to my tank from the Gulf, but my wife has a Gulf thinstripe hermit crab tank. They get pretty big and live for a while. I used to use them for bait. (Dont tell her)

I've caught these in a minnow trap, that they call gulf snapping shrimp. It just looks like a pistol shrimp to me.

And I've also caught these little mystery gobies described in this old thread.

I just thought he had a boo boo on his one arm !

My tanks an acrylic with a thick Eurobrace (top plate) so hanging stuff is difficult but I really like the idea. I kind of wish I had gone with XF330s instead of the XF350s as I think I would have had more flexibility with the 330s but I was underwhelmed by the MJ-GF2K.
ok so my top is 3/4... ok I need you to image a square C...this would be a little thicker then your top brace and slide onto the tank brace then a acrylic part comes down to hold the gyre....
