When I click your build thread it brings me to some biocube thing.

I'd never thought of that, great idea, but it only happens to me with the alk because of crystallization. I even make a couple of holes in the cap so the bottle can breathe, but it still happens. Maybe the tubes are bad.

if you're getting crystallization. for clogs then the check valve probably would be a good idea for chance of crystals inside it.

I dose 30 ml 3 times a week. I can’t remember how I derived at that it was over over 4 years ago.

Going well, everything running except the skimmer, I want to get the nitrate and phosphate up. The new fish are fat, happy and healthy. I’m so glad I have a yellow tang again and looking forward to getting a Tomini. I pick up the live rock and live sand from TBS a week from Friday and I’m hoping to have everything from the Biocube transferred by that Sunday evening.

My oldest son and I hit two places in Cleveland last Saturday. It’s a Biota tang, medium sized, larger than a silver dollar. The lfs wants me to call them with an update on how’s it’s doing. They had two. We were going to hit another one that had yellow tangs but that one looked so healthy.

Biota yellow tangs are captive bred. Ironically if your LFS doesn’t keep them my Petco lets me order fish from Biota and will keep it in the bag for me to pick up too and their price is a lot better with no shipping costs lol. That’s how I got my Biota Mandarin actually.

Also my Acans are looking extra fluffy today!

In over 20 years of reefing I’ve never used anything but live rock but this is the first time I’ve used sand out of the ocean.
