What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Hey Joel, avoid eggs today! Did you hear the latest! Somali pirates are offended by Pittsburgh’s baseball team and are demanding it gets changed! Now the Swedish and Norwegians are offended by the depiction of Vikings on the football uniforms, Vikings never had horns on their helmets, and are following the Somalis in demanding a name change. I hope nothing happens to my Indians!
Am surprised they're even allowed to be called Indians at all.
And the braves?
Remember the chop shop?

Seems like the world is comprised of easily offended parties nowadays. Kind of over it myself.

My dad's cousin pitched for the Indians through a couple of pennants and a world series. Bob Lemon. Also managed the Yankees to a couple world series when Billy Martin would get fired and later rehired lol.

MLB was my dream.
Thanks for adding to my great day!

I meet Bob a couple times once at LA when he was a pitching coach and then in Chicago while he was with the White Sox.

He told me my dad might have made pro back in the day. They grew up playing ball together in California. My dad had a bag of scary pitches. I remember getting my hand just about blistered by playing catch with him. My dad's knuckle ball, curve ball and fast pitch scared the heck out of me lol. It was always a treat to take in a pro game.

My dad loved baseball and I grew up listening to baseball on the radio evertime we took a road trip somewhere.

Good times and good memories.

It was my dad that got me into aquariums. He brought home a 10 gallon with stainless steel trim and a slate bottom in the 60's. Platys, Swordtails and Guppies. I would watch that tank for hours. Kind of miss the simplicity of those tanks.

How are they doing for you?
I had one DOA Peppermint Shrimp that he refunded pretty quickly and I've got 2 of the Mini Trochus that aren't moving but alive. Several of the Dwarf Ceriths are likely dead because they're laying on the sand still after 2 days but they don't stink. Nerites are doing good, Conch buried itself and I haven't seen it since, Hermits are SUPER active all day and night. Peppermint Shrimps are doing their dances in caves during the day and out and about some at night.

They're not Indians, they're Guardians. But I sounds like they're trying to get that changed back?

We didn't have a TV until I was 14 so I listened to everything on the radio.
Vin Scully WAS baseball for me.

What a wonderful Dad, Lowell. And he introduced you to such great pastimes and that you still love them.

Those core, DNA memories are priceless

Me too regarding Vin! I would sit on my bike with the cool banana seat and the transistor radio to my ear. If I was lucky, my Dad had given me a small bag of David’s, sunflower seeds and I would compete with the boys in the neighborhood on who could spit the shells farthest or at a target - total tomboy

We had Taco Bell for dinner... Just now. I had the Cheesy Gordita Crunch.
I don’t do fast food very often anymore; however my daughter and neice hooked me back into Taco bell and they have a potato taco; nice lil snack. But my go-to is the classic bean n cheese burrito with extra onions and about 10 of the extra hot sauce packets!

Basically lived off those when I got my first apartment at 19. They were 50 cents.

No thanks on the extra onions but I'd go for the bean and cheese burrito with the hot sauce for sure!

Cup-o-Joe in hand. Prickly Pear. Very smooth. Rearranging the 70 somewhat.

But have you tried the lil potato taco?

Ya I hear you, it’s as if believe they have a constitutional right not to be offended. I’m offended all the time, I change the station, look the other way, walk away etc. I’m over it as well.

But have you tried the lil potato taco?
Yep! I prefer good old bacon. Not a fan of pico because onions, but their seasoned potatoes are good. I usually get one of the boxes and get the cheesy potatoes as my side.

Hey Kevin! Not sure if you're aware but I do actually have two Birdsnest...

This one is green polyps with purple flesh. The other is blue polyps with a metallic green flesh.

Ummm, why does he look a lot like you? Or am I crazy?
Ya you might be crazy still, but I heard that before when I was younger.
