Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Yes, 15 miles from work and 25 miles from my house.
So we can pick corals on the website and you can go see them in person and tell us whether or not we should buy em!

That was going to be my next question if the feeding tube was required but I have the DD feeding portal that looks like it should allow the feeder to slide right in.

I've always used the Eheim but I like how accurate the Avast is.

I'm actually sure you could rig up a similar feeding tube with some 3D printed parts. Basically the platform that holds the tube + clamp blocks and nylon screws for the other side of the AIO divider wall + a thin flat piece that connects the tube platform to the clamp blocks to straddle the AIO wall. Then you can have the feeding tube clamped to the AIO wall, the Plank situated above the screen netting dropping through the netting into the tube and the lid still able to sit evenly above the thin connector piece that straddles the AIO divider wall.
@AVAST Marine What do you think about that idea? @AVAST Marine I know you made a custom piece for me to attach a Plank on an IM AIO while seated above the AIO divider wall, but in the above poster's scenario, he'd want the Plank separate from the tube/pump so he can use a non-custom lid without cutout (thus also allowing flexibility with Plank placement. THANKS!

@AVAST Marine Something like this for @NanoSteam ?

I'm coming due for one, myself and will be posting the pics in my thread to encourage others to get theirs. It's never to early to detect cancer!
I just had a diagnostic one done (thankfully clean) at 36 but they've reduced the recommended age to get them done now to 45... Actual procedure is easy peasy.... the prep though 🤢

Interesting, that would work very well actually especially since the middle part of the acrylic panel is lower than the lid.
In my last IM (40L), the emergency overflow gap on the AIO divider wall was about 1/2" from the top of the glass.

Looks like it's the same for the SR80.

This is the mockup I am working on with them right now, but it is for the Waterbox 25 peninsula with a cutout lid:

This is the same system I was using with the IM 40L, but the red 3D printed piece was 1/2" instead of 8mm.

Using this design, you need a cutout in the lid for this to work.

I appreciate the assistance, and that you've already done the legwork on this. I would leave this up 24/7 instead of just for work trips and should look seamless in the back.

I had my first one a few months ago and got the all clear! It was not as bad as I thought it would be, the prep stuff was the worst part.

Trying to man... seems I have one nerve left and everyone has stepped on it today. At least it's a three day weekend.
It seems like people pile it on during the worst days. If you can get to a 12 ounce bottle and a chair in front of that beautiful tank of yours, I bet you'll feel better.

The prep is always the worst !! 🫣 🤣

Oh... but you have. He's talking about food trucks. So... if you have even eaten out of a portable building on wheels..say at a fair or something. You have taken part in the great tradition of the Roach Coach.
On everything, I've never eaten out of a food truck. We didnt even have them here until the last few years. This is a seafood town, and no one wants an oyster sold out of a truck lol

It's good for your gut health, give it a shot one day, you'll feel things you never thought possible.

Sorry but no, curbside pickup. They don’t allow anyone into the facility.

i was diagnosed with Crohn’s at 11yo, I lost count of how many I’ve had but it never got easier.
