Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I have had this tiny little mushroom for several months now and it's not growing what does it need? Would too much light keep it from growing?
Was there a pic 😁

I just looked back and I have had it a year at the end of April.

I know mushrooms like dirtier tanks so higher nitrates and phosphates. That being said some mushrooms are very slow growers too.

Ah ok I thought all mushrooms grew fast. I had some beautiful red ones in my pico that didn't make it when it crashed and they grew faster.

I love my leopard wrasse... just did a water change of about 15 gallons. My sixline still spends a lot of time hiding but I did see him a few times today.
Me too!! How well did he eat when you first got him?

Oops forgot to add it... 😆
Nothing that pretty grows fast lol.

If I remember correctly, your red ones were discosoma. This one looks like a rhodactis to me, or even a ricordea. It's hard to tell, but they both grow a bit slower than the discos in my experience.

One she decided not to hide which took a day or two maybe three if I remember right she ate anything I put in the tank.

Ok thank you!

They're such gorgeous fish! That color pattern is so unique.

I was worried when I ordered it because I had read they don't do very well shipping but I was lucky and she did great.

ok back to safe place...bourbon time''
new tank is ready for pic up...gonna have to wait till my schedule is clear in about 2 weeks.
Did you get your roof done?

no had to stop for work... got 1500 square feet done on one side. Hade to leave 2 feet from top since I am putting in a ridge air vent across the top. Will start the other 1500 square feet side tomorrow. takes time to move clay tiles, stack them. remove the tar paper and old wood strips. Then put down synthetic under layment, put new wood strips back, clean the dirt off the tiles, put tiles back. Nail every other row unlike the builder who did not nail anything down,
it is a job and taking my time to do it right and fix all the F ups the builder did..
