What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?

Question for those running an RODI unit... I've had to replace my DI resin the other day but thinking it's a good time to replace my carbon block as well since i have Chloramines and my block is rated for 600 gallons production if Chloramines are present which are in my case.

Does this sound correct for flushing the carbon block? Remove the DI resin so the chamber is empty and then I'll have to disconnect or remove the RO membrane to flush the carbon block until it runs clear?
It is best practice as the carbon particles will partially block up the membrane however it is usually easier to pull the tube off the inlet to the membrane (or from the carbon block) and just flush until clear. I usually do a few gallons through just the sediment and carbon then reattach to the membrane. In fact I will be doing that next week here but then I will replace the membrane as well since it is starting to degrade.

Kevin it dipped into the 50s here the other night. It was scary... My flip flops didn't work anymore. I felt like the fish wouldnt bite if I tried to catch them. I considered wearing a jalket.... jicket... I cant think of the word for it, but the heavier article of clothing that you wear when it's cold....
You mean long-sleeved shirt maybe?

Good morning all, have a beautiful day! Daughter had a rough night so going with a double dose of coffee off the bat.

That's what I figured just wanted to check since the manual didn't really cover the "how to" part of replacing filter, just initial setup and based on that you shouldn't run any of it through the RO membrane. Thanks!

He's something else isn't he 🤣
Sometimes I check the thread in the mornings wondering if I posted anything the day before that will make his morning response. It's a mixture of excitement and fear.

Her 8 year old brother dressed her for this pic 😄
Happy birthday to that sweetheart that has made us all smile many many times in her first year.

I'll admit I do throw in a little bait for Chris from time to time to see if he'll bite

Haha! I may have to start cautiously trying that myself

Is that one of those weird shirts that has the long arms on it? Not for the 50s! Im dressed like Sue Aiken from life below zero. 😆 🤣

I think that is more appropriately referred to as chum.
