Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Why didn’t I think of that? 🤔 I wanted to ax you a question, as you know I put a pair of mandarins in my tank over two weeks ago. Every few days I would see one in the shadows. It slowly turned into a daily occurrence and I figured I was seeing one of each. Now I can see one in the shadows almost every time I look in the tank but always a single one. Is it possible the other is just really shy or more plausible that I lost one and the cuc took care of it?
So mandarins are poisonous. If another fish takes a bite it’s a goner. I was always concerned my jawfish was going to do it. But I don’t know if the poison is toxic to crabs and snails. I can’t look that up now but Google that. Sometimes mine at 2.5” dissapears for a couple weeks before i see it again.

Did you say Sinularia Kevin? Well, here’s a few more.

There are four in this pic. Toxic green, pink and purple and a pulsing. The pulsing actually pulses similar to Xenia.
There is a cabbage leather in the back.

Second pic is Koji Wada

Third is purple with green polyps

Yesterday I posted a video of the raccoons being released. About an hour ago my oldest son left to hike back even though he doubted that they would still be there. He just sent me this.

I actually had a colt in the first tank that I had running for 16 years. When I went to my lfs I asked for one and she said she hadn’t seen one in the hobby in years and suggested the sinularia that I bought.

I searched for a true Colt coral for probably 6 months.
When it’s gets bigger I can send you a frag

Here is the raccoon I had for about 10 years. This was probably 20 years ago.

When I found her and then as an adult.
