Home Depot has always been headquartered in the Atlanta area. Bernard Marcus, the co-founder of Home Depot, donated $250,000,000 for building and stocking the Georgia Aquarium. Home Depot is a very big sponsor of the aquarium.

That is so wonderful.

I took some classes, at Shedd, in the mid-90's. They were great and getting to see the "behind the scenes" of the facility was very cool. The Shedd Aquarium, while being an amazing and outstanding facility, doesn't really compare with Georgia Aquarium. If I were to choose one to visit it would be Georgia Aquarium.

I would love to visit the Georgia Aquarium.

A little late, but I forgot to mention I was a volunteer at the New England Aquarium for a couple years. Initially did it for extra credit at my high school “independent study” they called it. And then for about another year and a half just cause I liked it. Worked under the umbrella of the Aquarium’s Education department. Took turns walking the halls and talking with people but also informal crowd control. The most fun but rowdiest section was the tide pool area for kids where they could put hands on things like starfish, horseshoe crabs etc. Would give announcements every 15 or so to be kind to the animals and please don’t use the crabs as skipping stones. Would also help during events .

Good morning nerds! I’m having a bad morning as well. My family physician left me a voicemail last night. I won’t be going to work today but the ER instead to be admitted. I hope he’s wrong but the labs indicated I’m in acute kidney failure, oh jeez. I knew that could happen, before my transplant I was on dialysis for a month and diagnosed with stage three chronic kidney disease and the anti rejection medication is hard on the kidneys. There is a certain percentage of transplant patients, due to the meds, that need a kidney transplant. Good news for you I’ll have a lot of time to be on here with all you wonderful nerds!

Well getting a cat scan, I was hoping it would be a dog scan better resolution , then admitted. I hope my room has a nice view of of the beach and ocean !

Got a solid hour of sleep until I was awakened to get my blood pressure. I thought it was morning and thought dang I slept through the night and didn’t get up once to use the restroom. When I looked at the time I couldn’t make sense that it was 11:30 initially. Thought I would jump on for a second and see what kinda chaos was happening on the #Smo#Smorgasbadafterdark guess I’m to early see you in another hour.

When I looked at the time I couldn’t make sense that it was 11:30 initially. I did didn’t work I think I’ll just hang out here for a little bit and try again.

I remember when I had the PE last year. After being given clot busting meds I had neuro and vitals every hour for the 1st 8 hours afterward and then every 2 for the next day then every 4 for the last day concerns for bleeding from the meds. Same med they give stroke victims. I learned the art of the power nap and also to sleep when my body wanted even if my mind wanted to watch something or read something.
Hope you can get a little sleep here and there.

I think some people would be shamed. When their family and neighbors see it. Some won't care. But I would feel better
