Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I would get a lid.
The truth is I've been thinking about it and I was looking at one in Kraken Lid but it costs more than 200 dollars, But now I'm going to have to buy it, I don't want to lose another fish that way.

I am not a DYI guy but I made one for less than 30 dollars. Sorry for the loss.

Right now I'm going to Home Depot to get things from work, let me see if I can use something from there

I use light diffuser panel from Lowes for my freshwater tanks.

This might work or should I look for one with smaller gaps?

If you can find one there yes, it'll do well, but fish seem to find a way sometimes to get through them 1/2" holes

@tbrown Ive been invited by The Joint Chiropractic Corporate to relocate to your neighborhood to live and work. What nights are taco nights at your house again?

Oh, they offered to pay for the move and a relocation bonus!
DON'T FORGET TO ADD IN A TANK SIGN IN BOUNUS FOR YOUR OFFICE !!!!

That's what I used. You can keep the extra for future tanks or if the one your making gets broken.

You can use window screen zip tied to it as well.

say the headaches and bring him back to lfs...I went down the same road and in the end 6line went...
That's what I'm going to do today or tomorrow.

Smaller is better. They can launch themselves at just the right angle to get through (and they do!).

I already saw that Home Depot has it, I'm going to go to Lowes and if I don't find anything I'll come back to pick it up

Hey, I made frames from 1/2 pvc then ordered the white mesh from Saltwater Aq and cut the mesh to size plus 1 inch and then zip ties it to the frame. I needed two for the 300. Works great and cheaper. My tank cover hids it and the lights so I do not mind the look.
