Happy Birthday Amanda! When you stop counting, pick your favorite decade and just stick with that :)Been in my early 30s for years now!
I like the way you think! Honestly though I don't mind growing older and hopefully a little wiser each year... I just wish it didn't come with so many side effects like bad back, bad knee and bad eyesight... :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Been a good Thursday for me. Work was good I managed to make the afternoon deposit all by myself which can be complicated. Then had my birthday dinner with my stepson, his girlfriend, my son and Tony. She made me an amazing strawberry cake with real strawberries and whipped icing. She also made me this adorable crocheted axolotl! They got me a really pretty plant called Heart of Jesus and several flavors for my new cool cirkul water bottle they got me for mothers day.

Happy early birthday, Amanda! Caladiums are really cool plants. In fact, I almost picked one up at my local nursery today! Pics?

I can get you pictures of the actual plant tomorrow as I'm already laying down for the night. But it looks just like this one.

Ooh, those are really pretty. Do they hurt your eyes to look at? The one I saw at my nursery was so bright my eyes hurt after I looked at it... lol. If you have any question about it, or if it's not doing well, don't be afraid to ask me for help! I have quite a few happy houseplants... :) ;)

Is it supposed to stay inside? I thought I was supposed to plant it outside. He threw away the little care tag that came with it.

Yup! It can be planted outside. You can also keep it as a houseplant. In USDA zones 9-10, they are perennials (they come back each year), but anything under that they are annuals (don't come back after winter), unless you are to dig up the tubers.

Look up your town, and type in "usda zone" after. For example, "Boston usda zone."

Look for things like 1A, or 1B, except that will be your number.

So might be better to keep it inside with a grow light? Or in a pot I can move in or out...
Yeah, bring it outside in the summer, take it in for the winter.
