Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
So I was watching videos and I thought of something many, many, many years ago I worked at Petco as their Aquatics Specialist and we use to have these really neat corals called Bubble Corals and I use to think if I ever had a saltwater tank I would want one of them in it. But I have not seen them in any of the videos I have watched or on any coral websites i have liked at. Do you guys know what I'm talking about?

Yes. They do exist but they are hard to find.

6 Berghia and phyto. I used that $ 50 discount code that Dinkins so graciously gave out awhile back if you posted on their thread.
Ohhh yeah! Berghia to the rescue with a chaser of phyto!

Wouldn’t it be cool if you could night vision video them destroying the aptasia!

Somehow I bet Ocean has one!

That would explain why I don't see them often. From what I'm reading they are really hard to frag.
That's the reason why they are sp expensive. You can't buy a small frag. You'd have to buy a large colony. You can find some cheap colonies, but usually the colors are not vibrant and are more of a tan color.

Maybe I will find a deal on one someday.

I am sure you will one day. It's just supply and demand. Coral prices have to come down one day...

I did this too, except I just got the berghia. I am sure they will be fine jn the heat. Dinkins packages their products with the destinations weather in mind. If the do arrive DOA, just shoot them a PM and they will replace them, no questions asked.

I order mine a while back, and I am just now seeing baby berghia!
Baby berghia! Wow - so cool. I totally missed the boat using the discount on berghia. I do need some now that I have two tanks. Thought about keeping peppermint shrimp in main tank and berghia in nano. But won’t get unless I can find on sale.

When is your Birthday? If you signed up for the Dinkins Birthday rewards, you get a 50 dollar gift card on your birthday. That could cover the shipping or berghia.

When is it? I have to put it in my calendar!

I had broth with rice and chicken again... :face-with-rolling-eyes:
Mmmmmmm. So I can add chicken and broth to mine :face-savoring-food:. That sounds like the recipe for Campbell’s chicken and rice soup!

I saw a video of it, I believe on here but maybe YouTube. It was a beautiful thing.

Love this shot! The apprehension in the bitten lip, yet the entire body of determination! Sports! A mantra on life.
Any idea who that is Jennifer?
