Every time you introduce anything new to the tank, you risk bringing in other stuff,

Just a suggestion, because every single one of us has gone to the LFS to just get fish food or something benign and come home with an animal of some kind. Hehe

Sorry, fell asleep - it was a very long day.

You are talking about the lil clownfish you just got correct that his mate just died, correct?

If so, is he in the tank with the flux? If he is, move him into tank with your other clownfish but with acclimation box. If he is in a different tank, still put in acclimation box since u don’t know what caused the death of the other one. If it was the cleaner shrimp or another fish, this will keep him safe.
