Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
One of the perks of government work: lots of money, even more lots of red tape for the money.

Tim's money goes to the stuff OUTSIDE the well site and treatment facilities. Tim isn't buying any RODI units for Ryan, he can get his own money.

Tim's money problem is that Tim spent Tim's money but Procurement is trying to tell Tim how he SHOULD have spent his money...
Never put baby in a corner!

So I snowed the tank and started some water for a water change. Also started designing a hanger bracket for the filter off the 1/2 gallon betta tank to put it on the cookie jar Betta tank when I build the Tenecor Pico Betta tank and upgrade everyone! And then I'll have an empty tank for another baby girl... :thinking-face:
Is there a section in your build thread you talk about snowing the tank? I confirmed with Randy F.H., That I could do it even without a skimmer.

Enter here for your chance to win! Go post a TON of pictures. I'm not entering.
I’m going to do that one tonight- slept most of the day so catching up!

I don't talk much about it. I use 2 teaspoons mixed in tap water and then dump it in the tank into an area of high flow. I leave the tank running.

I'm also not currently running a skimmer.

@fishguy242 hey Frank, would it be appropriate to post on the cafe, about voting for Kev’s tank idk we just say #2? I’m not sure on the protocol for these things, plus it’s your thread. You just happen to have a huge audience

Your tap water is better than most rodi, right?

The only thing is I don't make mine ahead of time or let it sit. I put the calcium Carbonate in, mix well, dump in tank.

2 tsp of what product/brand and do u mean non-rodi water?

Nope! My tap water is good, just has lots of calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity. TDS and Hardness are elevated, nitrates are present but low ...
