Who is Tim and what are tacos? If this thread doesn’t start mentioning something about reefing sometime soon I’ll find one that does. This is ridiculous, music, food, trucks etc. Enough already!

Ok, let’s start from the beginning. Is this a new tank? I don’t see any coralline algae. What are your parameters? Are you using tap water? What is your par? We are here to help you and not judge you but this looks like a week or two old tank. Did you cycle? What are your ammonia levels?

Also, do u have more than one tank right now? Realistically, how many can you actually maintain with your schedule and actually enjoy it? And unless the kids are going to actively help with maintenance, it’s just you.

Cause u absolutely need to be able to sit down and stare at ur DT after a long day. Look at Kev; his small tank is magical, next to seating, and can be maintained easily. He’s probably got us all out-witted as we are always recreating and fixing SH3$@T.

Yes I need a vacation but one day I'll go visit Kev you Frank or Kat, maybe eat tacos with Tim but until them the thread is all and more I could have asked for and how I make it through every day :smiling-face-with-smiling-eyes:
I have 5 tanks, 2 salt 3 fresh but thinking of going to 1 fresh.
Haven't done a water change in a month.
I enjoy all you guys so much I wouldn't change a thing.
