Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I don't have one but can get one over the weekend. The instructions that cabe with al of them said to start them out on or near the sand and move them up a little at a time. Not sure I can tell what all of them are until they open up.
Pictures and we'll help!

@00W and @tbrown , tomorrow Im picking up all the necessary ingredients to make gumbo for the first time this weekend. Either of you have experience and can share some tips. It is hard to find good gumbo in Northeastern Ohio and I thought I would give it a go. I know the roux is very important as well as the trinity.
I've eaten it several times! It's delicious. That's my experience. Use spicy sausage.

I’ve done the pet scan thing before. Go home, pull a chair up in front of your tank, crack a Carona and eat a bowl of Cheerios!
Did you know that dogs can't scan? No, but Cat Scan and Pet Scan.

Kev one more thing.
Cooking is love so love what you do and you can't miss.
I love breaking the rules a bit while cooking so use the recipe as a guide not law.
When I make roux I use the juice from the veggies butter or bacon grease never oil.
Better flavor plus it's bacon.
Minced bacon cooked down with veggies makes a great roux stock before the flour.

I wasn't going to say anything because I'm embarrassed but I'm 55 today and we're having frozen pizza for dinner.
Happy birthday Joel, you are just a baby! I hope you had a great birthday!

I agree with @tbrown , although I’ve never done it, live rock is very porous and should be easy to drill.
Can I just point out that we're all in trouble... Kevin just agreed with me.

Happy Birthday my Friend! And yes, still a baby!

Doesn’t matter what you ate for dinner - your family was with you

Did 6 scans in 4 days - I am brighter then the light coming out of the Luxor pyramid in Vegas!

Sooo glad to be home. My tank isn’t too bad. Just needs a little love. I’ll spend tomorrow cleaning it. My copepods from Dinkins come on Friday, so that is perfect timing.
