What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Currently I have 2 clownfish, Flasher Wrasse, Carpenter Wrasse, Firefish, tailspot, 3 Springeri Damsel, neon bar goby and Scissortail goby. Will these I am thinking about for my next order be ok?

Try to stay away from the mandarin.
Hard to feed and needs an extremely mature tank.
Cleaner wrasse are super cool fish but unless you have large angels or tangs I wouldn't bother IMHO.
Plus they love to jump.
Others should be fine.
Butterfly is great fish but fussy until acclimated and needs to be quarantined.
Again just my opinion.

ah coffee time...and off 2 days...Gonna make the diy formula for carbon dose today..Vinegar/vodak/rodi mix...Hoping tank dose even better on this, so far nopox did good but need to save money in the long run...Friends are like whats the bottle of vodka for near the tank..lol

Ok so going to skip mandarine for now and the cleaner wrasse.

What if I did some Anthias instead of those two? I have read they are peaceful and do well with others like them? I do plan on a tang or two but they will be last ones to go into to the tank.
 
Question family, should I heat the water to 78° before mixing the salt or after?
I keep mine heated I feel like the salt mixed better but that might just be my imagination.
