Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Really nice selection Parker! Would love to see a full DT photo as you have been filling it up nicely.

How have you been? Is Lacrosse still going? Or are you focused on finals? Or maybe just having fun on the weekends?
I’m good. How about yourself?
Lacrosse is over.
Summer break started last week so it’s been a lot of fun.

Do any of yall know where I can get some good size chucks of Xenia? When I go online all I find is small frags of it.

Lookin good. How old is it?
I have had it since October 9, but a friend of mine had it before that for about a year and a half I think.

How much do you want?

So far I've done so many things to keep nitrate in check.
The fuge seems like it's been going for years but it's only been since mid March.
I changed 15 gallons today.

I've been testing weekly and it's actually been holding around 22 so I thought I'd see if it would hold here.
My phos has been dropping every week very slowly.
Experiments are my favorite part of this hobby and for you beginners, patience really is the key.

I've been collecting rock on ebay and adding it slowly to my little tank.

Cool small pieces and added some to my sump as well.
Summer is our busy time so I'm hoping to do water changes every other week.
We'll see....

I think all you need is a little frag, they grow fast and furious!

Wow - your tank is spectacular!! Everything growing nicely and I love your placement of corals.

Yay - summer break! We expect to see Parker out and about doing summer stuff. And good rest on Lacrosse for now.

I’ve been great - got to go to TSA in Florida for a coral shopping spree I won. You’d have to read a lot of pages here to find that though. Just go to my build thread if your interested.

When you get a chance, take more photos of your tank - different closeup sections. We love seeing the specifics. We are nerdy that way!

It’s so cool you are experienced enough to freely experiment. I’m just trying to keep numbers consistent and find the right trace elements ratio - lol.

Happy you are reefing again.
