Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Hey Parker,
I see you have a very active Instagram account with lots of beautiful pictures of you reef. You should make a Build Thread and do a chronological photo dump.

That way, if you ever want to go back and document anything, you can just go in and add the verbiage.

At a minimum, we get to see it and enjoy. It also helps us answer questions too.

Just a thought as I know your busy - that’s why a photo dump for now.
That’s a great idea. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have an aquarium showcase but how do I make a build thread?

My plank arrives tomorrow- sorta excited to see what my fish think.
@JoJosReef @tbrown plank got setup / tested. Fish started to smell it and gathered- love it.

I have it going off every hour for 8 seconds. Dan said the OG instructions on timing was perfect for my bioload.

I am using their Beef jerky only for this first time.

For me, this is a game changer. I have all my RN liquid to use when I’m home and mobile.

Yes, it was expensive- if I had known I’d need one sooner, I would have waited for a sale or contest.

I used the nearpow timer per Dan’s instructions. Only thing I didn’t like it’s only in military time. But only $13

Should I buy this for $80? It looks like an awesome piece but what are those dark/black areas on the coral?

I don't know about the black areas, but the white areas right now are dead zones I think

I would not. That's a birdsnest. Someone local should give you one for free or maybe $10. And it doesn't look healthy.

Ok well good thing I asked yall. Idk if I will find one for that cheap.

When one becomes a Reefer, they are one for life.

Walked into X-ray room and became jacque cousteau in the yellow submersible!

Laughed out loud thinking you all would enjoy!
