If it is unattached, don't bother gluing it. Likely won't work. Put it in a mushroom-type basket or even a shot glass with some broken shells/small rubble pebbles. It will attach to something, and then you can glue the shell/rubble to the rocks wherever you want it.

A word of caution: xenia spreads, so it's advisable to put it on a rock island away from your main rockscape.

I have a little basket that I used to acclimate fish to my tank with. I can put the xenia in and that with some pieces of small rocks.

This is the dip I use for all my corals. Is it a good one and safe for all types of corals?

It'll likely take a few days to a week (or more) for the Xenia to attach.

Pretty much. Rubberbands can work as well but I've never tried.

new ,yes,pests, sick recommend iodine based dip.

Be careful getting the rubber band too tight since Xenia are pretty thin.

Note: I don't measure anything, just pour a bit into a tupper with water. All the bugs jump out of the coral. Give it a couple of blasts with a pipette, especially in the grooves where the coral is stuck to a rock or plug, then take it out, give it a shake, and put it into a bigger tupper with clean saltwater. Will also add some iodine to the water if the coral is looking rough. Worked pretty well for me so far. You might want to follow instructions, though ;-)

For Xenia I prefer what Frank does, wedge them between rocks. I also get them into a little cup or shotglass that gets less flow and blows them around less. They do fine. Much harder to kill them than to make them live.
