Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Well awhile back I told you that my son’s company was sending him, some other engineers and some manufacturers to France for two weeks to get the machines they built set up, running and troubleshoot any problems that arise. Took him over 50 hours to get there. The last machine sent was never tested before it was sent and has been a huge problem as they don’t have the parts to get it running. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks. They had been working 12 hours every day. My son convinced his employer he and his team needed a day off and yesterday was his first day not working. The head of the company they are at told his employer due to federal law they cannot work more than 46 hours a week. My son has been sounding much happier especially since his employer told them they are going to be there an additional 2 weeks and they are sending some additional employees from manufacturing over to help.
As a fellow Dad, I'm happy to hear that your son is having some positivity coming his way. I'm sure you'll both be glad when he's back, kevin.

I LOVE my Biocube! but it's so hard to clean the 2 curved corners. :upside-down-face:
If I ever start over, I'll probably go with a sump setup instead of my aio cube. I find it almost impossible to keep water levels steady for accurate use of an ato. If the filter pad clogs, if a snail hangs out too long on the overflow grates... etc, it never stays steady for long lol. The thing looks great though

I went to take out one of my cheap wavemakers/powerheads from my mixing bucket to switch it to another bucket and glad I did it was sparking and began smoking.
Got lucky there.
It's only mixed water in It's lifetime but still.....

Oops too late ;)
