What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
You might be the same age as me (or younger perhaps...).
41 and going strong(ish) on certain days. I've just got to fool my boys into thinking that lol.

Anyone on here have a pumpkin in the pumpkin carving contest. I’m trying to help a friend out on the other side of the pond, he gladly jumps in and votes for you guys when I ask. Please vote for # 14 thanks

She is tied for first, we need more votes!

Oh man I just learned that shipping is always 45$... UGH. I don't have enough money for shipping. If only I had 50$ worth of gift cards.. I could do like a 6$ hammer and rest in shipping

I know that's disappointing. But my advice is to save up until you can get what you really want! A great reefer told me when I first started to only put the things I loved in the tank, because one day you'll be out of space and you'll want more.

Ah understood. I really want a lot of lps. But softies are so nice too. I wanna go with a mixed reef NO SPS. I wanna do torches, octospawn frammers, frogspawn, hammers etc. softies wide toadstools, big leathers, bubbles, nems and prolly others I haven't heard of yet. I'm worried about swimming room tho...

Also I cleaned all my powwehrads off last night very well so they have no gunk in or out of them. Should I expect more growth with my softies?

They love more flow than you think!

Well... A few days in and I'm out of the voting for POTM. Sorry Smorgasbord, we lost. All of us.

Well you have a great eye, sounds like. I starter with a few softies, and once I learned how to obtain and maintain stable parameters, I started adding euphyllia. They are beautiful and add excellent movement. Check out my build thread if you want to see how i added those corals you want. I'll be posting some more soon.
