Eastern or western cruise? I have done both, love it. So you can enjoy your vacation and put your heart at ease you could pick one of these and take a peek every day to put you at ease.

Hmmm, what cruise line? We did carnival, Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Martin. I snorkeled a very nice reef in St. Thomas. I recommend you bring your own snorkel. After a trip to Aruba and watching them pull the snorkel out of a container with fluid ( sanitizer?) I bought my own snorkel, goggles and fins for the rest of my trips.

I had a friend in high school who moved here from Tennessee his sophomore year with his family. His father smoked a turkey, to this day I don’t know where he found a pipe big enough, for Thanksgiving. The best turkey I ever had and the skin was out of this world.

St. Martin is definitely an island I could spend a week, the most affordable island I have ever been to. We were only on the Dutch side and couldn’t find a reef. You will probably on the French side the most as that is the only side with clothing optional beaches., bring a lot of sun block, melanoma is not a joke!

I just loaded the car with 3 lbs of butter and 20 heads of garlic. I’m on my way, fingers crossed they are afraid of bubble algae!

When I was young, I know, hard to picture, my next door neighbor would take me and his son out in his boat to catch red fish with live shrimp. He would always stop at a bay and pound a stakes in with chicken necks tied to them. On our way back he would pull them out and those blue crabs would not let go of those chicken necks.

When I lived in Cuba we didn't spend the whole night in the mangroves and catch lots of them (we knew it by the name Jaiba)
