Had to bring that up didn't you. I'm really bummed I had to pass on the Berghias. I could have avoided the whole Peppermint shrimp episode but I couldn't drive at the time.

Did you have a bad peppermint shrimp incident? I'm starting to get a bit desperate with my little aiptasia outbreak.

That's so cool. I wish I didn't need like 5 different tanks and could just have one but now I need a yellow stripe maroon tank, a reef tank, a predator tank, probably a little nano tank of some sort :face-with-tears-of-joy: you guys are terrible- I mean terrific influences!

I heard if you go in and scrape em with a brillow pad they send out little spores and that tells the other aptasia it isn't safe so they all leave. You could try that

I had three in my 100 for Aiptasia. They did well, although they left a couple of large ones, either they were too big or maybe they wanted to make sure there were lots of succulent babies around. Anyway there were a couple of Hammers and an Acan in the tank that they went after. I think the Acan was just torn apart to get the food I was feeding but the one of the Hammers was near their lair and I think it just became a snack. Then they decided they like Hammers. They killed a Gold Hammer and were working on the Peach and Green Hammers before I pulled the hammers out. The Peps are gone to my LFS and the hammers are now recovering in the tank.

I had 2 in my 20.
Totally got rid of the aips then went after some shrooms then my longnose got them both.
One one day, one the next.
Big debacle.

I hope you get so much happiness from your reef. Ill just say you were so positive and encouraging to me when I first started this hobby. I definitely think about your influence on my tank all the time. And as I look at pics of your new piece of the ocean, I want you to feel the same thing.
