Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
If incoming pressure is the same and downstream pressure is dropping then one of your filters is likely ready to be changed/replaced.
Thanks Tim, I will take them apart tomorrow and find the culprit.

When did you replace filters/membranes last?
One about a year and a half and the other about a year I think. Still struggling with my memory, as I stated previously I’ve been wanting to ask my family physician to increase my dementia medication but I keep forgetting.

Yeah I'd start there Kev.
Sounds like it to me.

Who was she? Does she have a website?
The website i share where I had you look up my corals. That's her website. Some really really nice woman who had me sit kn a couch while she explained her entire system and how she does everything and gave me a 50% discount on my zoas because it was my first time there. Got like 20 heads on it for 50$. Think that's fair? Awesome genuine nice person.

Really nice zoas!
Thanks man! The wife likes the zoas so she's gonna have a garden(if she actually gets involved then I'll buy her all the zoas she wants :grinning-face-with-sweat:) might get ahold of cultivated reef for tomorrow :thinking-face:

Happy to report all new fish, starfish and corals are settling in nicely and enjoyed a supper of shrimp and coral food. Even caught a quick glimpse of the Royal Gamma. Sad to report the holes in the second set of coral racks are too small for the plugs. Maybe tomorrow I can see if I can make them bigger without breaking them.

I can always count on my favorite mermaid, at least for a while until you go the way of all the others!
I'm still here, here and there!

Before i get anymore corals though, I have a mp40, 2 jebao sdw-16 and about 1200gph of return pump flow and i still have rather aggressive cyano issues. Maybe dinos as well but I didn't think dinos and cyano grew together as dinos would out compete everything for nutrients and i have high phosphates which would lead one to think not dinos? I have lots of flow, to the point where i think I might turn powerheads down a little bit and get a couple small ones for hard to reach areas, and I know @00W you had said you typically see cyano related to flow issues so I'm just kind of stumped. I did recently hook up a gfo reactor (ran it for like a day or 2 and my phosphates tanked so I shut it off) and i could cut back on the gfo and bit (use less/less flow) and see if getting phosphates down a bit helps? I'm pretty sure my rock must be leeching some
