I was just looking at your tank thread, looks great!

Thank you. I think that was my old 90 gallon from 2017. It was light with dual 250w Radiums and would grow a SPS nub into a volleyball size colony in about 6 months! I miss that halide setup.

Throwback to 2017. This was my 90 gallon cube I had when I lived in Texas. Dual 250w Radium halides. I loved that halide setup. It would grow anything!

A shout out to @Fish & Coral Store for making me dig back through my earlier (way earlier) threads to find this gem.
I did no water changes on that tank for probably 5 years. All I ran was an algae scrubber in a 40 gallon breeder filled on one side with live rock. Other side had my return pump. My ATO consisted of a 5 gallon bucket beside the tank.

Those don't look like limpets.

so what are we thinking? I have limpets everywhere, lots of Money Cowries, Tongan nassarius, fighting conch, tiger conch, 2 turbos, a few trochus, dwarf cerith, at one point some ninjas but they don't seem to last long. they fall off the walls a lot like margaritas. I can't really zoom in any more. they really do look like tiny limpets to me. I'll try and getting a better picture one day. I don't think they are flat worms. they do appear to be shelled.

anyone have thoughts on a big Coco or Campfire in my front left corner of open space? Are they tolerant of stuff?

I sure wish I knew what you were talking about Paul, lol. In my experience, camp fires don't work well underwater. Just my 2 cents

From the picture they do look like limpets to me. My second guess would be baby stomatella snails, common hitchhikers and bread in our tanks. What ever they are it is important that they get a good education!

I agree with @kevgib67 on the possibility of stomatella snails. I must have 100 of those things in my tank.

feather duster worms. coco is white a pink and campfire is typically a deeper pink/purple with yellow.

yeah, I would really need to pull one out and get him under a scope. all the way zoomed in doesn't seem any better. not stomatellas though. that would be a "dissecting microscope". did you ever get to see one of those in school or was that on field trips? (I hope you had at least field trips once in a while). I know some public schools lack science. I had to go to a school and teach high school kids a week long microbiology class.

I had those in my 32 and these don't look like them.

Glad I'm not alone on that one John. Coco would foul the water especially if it had marshmallows.... and campfire, like you said... no go
