Hey fam, I've been missing for a bit, but I'll catch up when I get home. I just got out of court. Do I agree with the sentence? No, but even if they gave him 1,000 years, that wouldn't have brought back our 3 family members. I'm glad that everything is over now, since it's been a terrible year for our family, 15 years in prison and 15 more in probation, I still believe the justice system is ****, but I wanted this to end.

Ugh, im sorry bud. I swear the system favors the criminals and not the victims.. I have so many regrets with my brother.. but it is what it is and it's behind me, and honestly, it happened, and now I've started to heal.

Yes, I got some anthias last weekend! They have been pretty easy fish so far, I've had no issues to get them to eat. They really aren't that difficult. Just get them from a place that is reputable, and QTs their fish because I know alot of anthias are imported with diseases, uronema being one of them. If you get healthy specimens they will do great!

The kid was 15 the day of the accident, did that play a role? Maybe, ( he was judged as an adult ) but he was driving 83mph in a 30mph zone and that same day he lied to the police saying he was going 40-45 mph which is in a video, but my cousin was 39, my aunt 65 and my grandmother 72, how many years of life were left there? I'm glad it's over, but at the same time, I'm very angry. How is the court going to sentence him to five years for each life taken? And I'm sure he won't serve the full 15 years. So what are they trying to do, to get people to take justice into their own hands?

Well. Gotta add to the melancholy of the evening, lost my uncle today. Been fighting cancer and dementia for quite a few years. Bittersweet. He was a very devout Christian his whole life and the last 4 or 5 he wasn't himself at all.. got really nasty. A prayer of joy and congratulations for him as he's finally home and a prayer of sympathy and condolences for my aunt who's probably struggling with that same thought not knowing how to feel

I get it bud. I spent July 4- oct 7 in and out of the Boston hospital with my brother last year, by the end of August we had a pretty good idea what was going to happen. His anxiety was so bad (because he knew he was dying) that they had to keep putting him into comas. In the end, what happened happened and we have to be thankful for what we do have. You and I both have amazing wives and sons and that's a lot to be thankful for.

thats tough. when they have dementia its like you lose them twice. i lost my grandma to Alsheimer's. broke my heart. hugs to your aunt and family. if he was ready to go, than thats what matters!

Does that sound like too many fish for a 120g with a total system volume of like 160ish gal?

Just wait bud, im sure you hear this alot, but enjoy these days. If you mess up, worse case, you fail a test, or maybe a whole class. I mess up and I have to worry about feeding me family, paying my mortgage, etc. Don't get me wrong, it's great in its own way, but don't wish away your youth bud. I often wish I could live as care free as I used to.

Sorry guys, I've been feeling a bit under the weather and life hasn't been the easiest these past few weeks. These next few weeks are going to be exhausting so I may not be on much. I'll try my best to stay caught up.

My lyretail anthias are doing great - eating dry and frozen food. They are by far my most aggressive eaters in the tank. I love them!

It was time. The last like 8-10 years he started going down hill and he started getting exponentially worse the last 2 or 3 years. My aunt couldnt even take care of him anymore and had to put him in a home as he was getting really really nasty and almost violent. Broke her heart. It sucks, but it's truly for the best. He left a long time ago. That wasn't him

My brother and I have said our mom died 10 years ago or so.
About 4 years ago she had a brain hemorrhage and almost passed for real.
It's so sad when you have to watch it slowly over the years.
I talked to her today and she just wasn't there if you know what I mean.

Oh absolutely. Every family even she had to explain to him who everyone was and even that didn't register with him, he just knew her and that she knew us so he was OK
