I already feel so embarrassed about another friend who sent me something and USPS says it was delivered 2 days ago. If this shipment gets lost and yours too, I'd be more than embarrassed.

If it were me, I'd focus on basic husbandry first. Sure, Ozone has its benefits, but it won't miraculously "fix" a tank. Also, it isn't simply buying a generator. There are many components to an Ozone set up. One of the most important is to ACCURATELY monitor ORP lest you risk wiping your tank out. Ozone is just a tool, the same as using UV. There are SO many successful, beautiful reef tanks that run without them. There are even many reef tanks that don't use a skimmer or sump.
I would focus more on keeping a weekly journal of your parameters.
Doing a weekly water change. This is probably one of the best things you can do at the moment.
Not adding any corals/fish/inverts to your tank until you can get it stabilized.
I'm not trying to sound harsh, but in reality, one can keep a reef tank without all the fancy gadgets.

I couldn't agree with this more. Sometimes we can try to short change the husbandry part of the hobby and rely on dosing and gadgets. I have no sump or skimmer. With that being said, I loaded the aio backwall with live rock, and that has been extremely beneficial. Great and thoughtful response

I would watch it honestly. When an euphyllia buds, it normally occurs from the flesh band.

Live rock is really beneficial. If you siphon detritus each week and blow the rocks off, there is really no need for a skimmer. Water changes can be your export along with the beneficial bacteria and other fauna on the live rock.

What is spiroids?

Spiroids are a harmless filter feeder. Their population can grow for quite a few reasons, mostly over feeding, but the good part is that once your tank reaches equilibrium their numbers dwindle. Almost like self regulating.

an encrusting worm that spirals. sometimes they irritate corals. if that's a new bud I'd wonder if it would stunt it's growth? I'd leave the bud alone.

I would watch it honestly. When an euphyllia buds, it normally occurs from the flesh band. Branching euphyllia normally grow by the heads cleaving and splitting, then new skeleton grows pushing the heads farther out. Hence, you have branching euphyllia and wall. Wall euphyllia grow like the name implies, in a wall fashion.
