I may get a second one so when I'm doing a water change, I can leave the water in the basement and plug a pump into one of these to turn it off when the tank is full again!

I don't use Kasa, but they're definitely great! I use a different brand that's individual outlets. Mine isn't accessible if I'm not on the WiFi at home.

The Hydros XP8 controller can turn things off and on from anywhere I have Internet access or mobile data.

Kasa may be controllable from anywhere as well.

I just lied! The OLD app wouldn't let me connect if I wasn't at home, this app does.

It looks like 4 of them aren't able to be controlled from anywhere outside of the house - probably the original 4. 4 of them and the power strip can be though!

Plus the XP8 and occasionally the Hydros WiFi strip... I like not having to unplug things.

On all 3 of my main tanks I can turn every pump and light on or off with an app.
