In person. I've never purchased from them online. Also, I only bought one flasher, no fairies. He only lasted about a week but he was small and kept getting chased.

I've got 2 Halichoeres wrasses from them that are doing good 2-3 years later still.

Yeah…I think at this point I would rather go in the store and purchase something I could look at. I don’t know if I can trust them online after 3 of the 5 fish came in bad.

I work with this Physician Assistant and he ONLY orders his stuff from Petco... fish... corals... he got this AWESOME green carpet anemone for $49.99... free shipping to his house. He swears by them... not sure why.

Everything I have is from petco.
But I've never ordered online.
I believe live aquaria and petco are one in the same and I've heard not so bueno things about live aquaria.

Yeah Joel…Live Aquaria was solid, especially Diver’s Den when Kevin Cohen was there. He left, Petco bought them out and everything went downhill.

I saw somewhere that Petco sold off Live Aquaria, but not sure if it’s true.

Maybe I just need to go check out the Petcos around here. I’d rather put my eyes on the fish at this point.

Order the fish at PetCo. Then have them drop them in their tank when they arrive and go check them out before you take it.

You'll be sick for about 8-9 years or so Mike, give or take, longer if you have another child.
You'll finally build up immunity to the sicknesses, the word no, the Idontwannatalkaboutits and everything else.
I spent about 12 years going through all the sicknesses until Joe hit junior high.

Good plan.
Not all petcos are run the same.
Mine is very small with low inventory and good management.
Both my trigger and yellow tang are from petco, the tang being a rescue they took in from someone.
The trigger I've had don't know how long, the tang is 10 or more.
I've never ordered a fish online from anywhere, I like to see what I'm getting.
Another thing you can do is what I do, if they're ok with it is put a deposit on the fish and leave it there for a bit, visit, feed, etc.
I've done that a few times over the years.
