Frustrated with my football coaches. Made a story about it, cryptic but my people know what's up. Tanks doing beautifully. Got my fresh tanks light cycle back up and running. My angelfish were stressed and losing color due to no light. Felt terrible.

(not my photo) I had one of these tv's in my room so I could play Atari 2600 games on it. Got it for free at a yard sale, and it was an absolute beast trying to get it up a flight of stairs. Sadly, the color was somewhat busted on it and it couldn't properly display blue so everything was red/green. Eventually, picked up a small 14-16-inch wood TV as its replacement.

My first stereo was from my mom as well, while I was still in school. I had to do a lip-sync for school so she gave me her old broken mono RCA portable record player. I lightened the arm and put a proper moving magnet cartridge in it (don't remember which one); put a phono pre-amp, amp and power supply from Radio Shack in the base; replaced the speaker with a better one from Radio Shack and put a duplicate speaker in the decorative, but non-functional, grill in the lid. It worked pretty well for a few years until I could afford a Garrard turntable and a used Marantz receiver with home-built speakers.

Best tuner I ever had was a Marantz, must have had it for 30 years, don't know what happened to it.
My first tuner I ever bought was a technics when they were made in Japan.
It only had a phono input/output on the back.
My dad gave me his Dual 1012 turntable he got while in Vietnam.
Only thing he ever gave me.
Unfortunately my vinyl collection went to my brother, 1000's of hard earned teenage records when we moved to the Sierras moons ago.
Still miss all that stuff but don't miss lugging it around...

I remember after we got the color tv watching a movie that we had seen on the black and white TV and saying, "That car's blue? I thought it was red!"

We didn't have a TV until I was 12 and when we got it I didn't really know what it was, just wanted to go outside and play baseball.
But the first ballgame I saw on it blew my mind.
