Patience
@kingranch2003 the war paint scoly appears to have doubled in size over night.

I love the light blue accents!

That is the fluffiest, most bouncy scoly I've ever seen. I wonder if that's because it's suspended on a rack and not on the sandbed?

Good morning my friends 🧡
Love all of you!
Enjoy your Sunday!
Be kind to one another ✨

Great words to start the day! Be well Joel

Happy Sunday everyone! Final day of moving out of the apartment for us and we will be 100% moved into our new house! Now the fun begins with all the organizing haha.

Good morning John! Ya it has four colors ( definition of a master?).

I've run no pads/socks/sponges-whatever for a long time and yes, that's a true statement.
I just leave everything in the bottom of the sump.
One thing I did do is add a rock filter on the entrance to the sump where the water comes down the overflow box tube.
It catches and smashes, sort of, bigger particles and no splashing.
I used to run the skimmer output over them too but I ditched the lifereef and got a octopus 110sss instead, lot quieter and I think it's leaving more in the water, well, more good stuff, bacteria wise.
Thanks for the info...Cheers

If you do the V3, I recommend the Max.
I was trying to keep it under $400. Those are $650 for the K1 Max and $750 for the 5Max. I was interested in the Flash Forge for the 4 color printing rather than swapping out a color. But I think I need to keep it down to the 3 V3 or Flash Forge. Those are both ~369 on sale. I doubt the Max would drop below $400 for BF. But I could wait till then to see. But like a 35% sale?

Me too man, me too. I used to use them as primary research place to see what was even out there when i first started freshwater.
Exactly! They were the best for that. Id search through all their stock, then get my lfs to order it for me at a much lower price.

well that great ..Happy for you...Do what I did and find the closest Home Depot cause your going to be going there alot to fix things and make improvements...I have a VIP spot t mine lol

Thanks for the info...Cheers
I like your idea of the rocks, I am gonna built a trap box for the water to go into and then slowly rise and overflow, using elbow pipe 180 degrees. ...My thought bigger stuff wil be trapped in the box. maybe 6x9x13..
Tested out my idea of elbow pipe works great since my two drains are 2 inch pipe. same concept as under a sink..

Live aquaria shutting down makes me feel old and sad. I remember using that website when I first got into the hobby just too look at fish.. it's how I've gotten others into the hobby too. LA will be missed however I wanna see petcos aquatics do the same. I'm tired of seeing petco and PetSmart's aquatic sections in neglect.
Not all petcos mine is fantastic.
