Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I used to love these guys when they came out. Good song!
They have a great sense of humor and don’t take themselves to seriously. I’ll play another that I like.

So my wife was out shopping today and snapped a shot of our car. No real reason to share it other than I know a few of you like cars and I like the shot. Not bad weather for 12 days before Christmas.

ah shopping in casa grande lol.

I can confidently say, my copperband swallowed several pieces of mysis, knows the feeder is where he finds food, and has increased the size of his stomach so he ate enough that he isnt going to bed hungry! 😁

I havent tried blood worms, I just got him yesterday. Im glad it seems to be working out so far! Always wanted one of these fish.

great...a mix wont hurt if he eats both...
I figured i'd try brine shrimp tomorrow. The mysis seem big and he has to break them up to eat and the other fish rob him. Wonder if a slightly smaller food might help.

probable will need a day or two to get used to each other.
Yea, hes usually the last one to stop being a jerk. Even my chromis and foxface are being kinda pushy. Typical pecking order stuff. Only the hawkfish is actively chasing.

yep I had that happen also when I got my CB, when I added blood worms my CB just gobbled it so nothing to fight over...so now she also hunts in the rocks for the blood worms like she would normally do on a reef...
Surprisingly this one pecks around a little but spends a lot of time looking at me almost like its begging. I thought to refeed it again after I broadcast fed and it grabbed a few mysis but spit them out. It 100% sees me and comes closer like it expects to be fed though. I hope it works out as it has a really cool personality

It's true that the mysis shrimp is bigger, but mine used to do the same thing with the brine shrimp until he got used to it. Tomorrow I have to buy food and I'll send you a picture of some mysis shrimp I buy that are smaller. Let me see if I can find a picture on Google.

I think this one, but I'm not sure. I'll send you a picture when I buy them.

Does your CB eat bristle worms ?

I currently use the PE mysis and he has definitely eaten a few. I almost always mix three random cubes up when I feed my fish and then they get pellets throughout the day. I know eating pellets is all but off the table but hopefully i'll find a couple somethings he likes to eat!
