I think it was a coopers hawk, did not see the front, spent about 30 min. there, figure he was looking for ground squirrels since we were moving stuff around in that area yesterday

Yeah my friend no one down here calls em crawdads except transplants and snowbirds. This is a crawFISH. And since this is the CRAWFISH capital of the world, we're right!

See as a transplant and someone who knows the difference between a fish and a invertebrate I preference the term crawdad and have know doubt putting a crawdad in my belly rather that a mislabeled fish .
