Heading out to my wife’s family Christmas party and I won’t leave hungry! I hope Santa brings everyone what they are hoping for! Those with young children have a blast in the morning, I miss those days!

I just haven’t seen that since I was a kid . I think Florida fell short when it came to keeping the fun things in life . . I would probably get a ice cream bar or a orange slush off one now if we had them . Haven’t see them since Michigan .

I didn't see them anywhere else in Arizona, just Casa Grande. Likewise, before here I hadn't seen one since I was knee high to an acro frag.

Back to the conversation with Mancini.
I saw a couple of his posts on here when someone would tag him about the Mancini holy grail. He usually jumps on to verify who has purchased one directly from him as he keeps a list of hobbyists and vendors.
He has a few single heads available that he recently cut. According to him, he only does this once a year and has a waiting list of buyers.
I was able to get a torch from him. Which I am ecstatic about to say the least. That's the one torch I've been trying to find and sifting through a lot of so called Mancini HGs that aren't true lineage. I know it seems fickle to some, but this is my, to coin a phrase...holy grail.
We have a FaceTime scheduled so I can pick which one I want and we will work out shipping after the holidays.
The only downside was the price tag, which is half of what other sellers are asking.
I will keep everyone posted!

Then i decided to just give it a real good clean myself and a water change . Who ever let me know the paper towel trick Thank You works great Tank looks great will see how it does in the light tomorrow . Do i need to use something like Chemiclean to deal with the "C " word bacteria stuff ? or can i clear it with out ? Thanks and merry Christmas EVERYONE !!!!

Then i decided to just give it a real good clean myself and a water change . Who ever let me know the paper towel trick Thank You works great Tank looks great will see how it does in the light tomorrow . Glad it is helping. The paper towels will not cure it and it will probably come back tomorrow but if you keep doing it the bloom will eventually die out. Chemiclean will work, if it is cyano and not dinos, but I would view that as a last ditch, it is getting away from me, type fix. It will kill the bacteria that is causing the bloom but it will also upset the bacterial, floral and faunal balances. If it does not get progressively worse then I would continue with nightly paper towels and it should gradually disappear completely and unlike using medications (Chemiclean is some form of bactericide) it will likely not return. What often gets reported to happen if you use Chemiclean though is the tank gets all better, and then crashes with something else like dinos.

Merry Christmas to you Garrett ! Chemiclean imo I would my opinion would be a last resort . You’ve been given some good advice but remember this is normal and as long as you have Cyano and your doing everything that you can to keep your parameters up to par especially phosphate then you have to give it time . It may not look good but it will pass in time . Did you try to blacken the glass ?
