I plan to use revive dip with the times below

• Hammer — 5–7 minutes
• Torch — 5–7 minutes

Lagoon Tank Group

• ORA Red Goni — 3–5 minutes
• Aussie Acan — 5–7 minutes
• Little Acan — 5–7 minutes
• Frammer — 5–7 minutes
• Torch — 5–7 minutes
• Hammer — 5–7 minutes
• POTO Boomerang Acro — 7–10 minutes
• RR Pink Floyd Acro — 7–10 minutes

Any specific concerns anyone notices about the times or just temp acclimating them vs dipping them?

Pithos crabs are preferred to Emerald - less likely to go rogue.

I can’t find any pithos anywhere here but I also don’t think they would do as good of a job at eating bubble .

They do. They're typically better at eating bubble Algae from what I've heard.

I temp acclimate in the bags then add them one at a time (I'm a horrible person, don't follow my example). I rarely dip unless the coral looks like it needs to be dipped and I rarely drip as dripping can cause more harm than good at times.

With that said, when I dip it's usually a 5 minute, no more. When I drip it's 30 minutes, no more.

If you drip, the temp acclimation should come after the drip as the temperature in the bucket will drop as you're dripping if you don't add a heater and circulation.

Yeah I think I am just going to temp acclimate instead of drip but I do plan to dip still since I want to avoid pests at all cost. Seems like most people say with corals shipped its bad to drip. Its funny how there are so many people who live & die by doing one thing over another though. I guess the saying is true that there are always multiple ways to skin a cat.

I recently got a Walt disney, a vivids confetti, a gremlin milli, a teal tort, and a palleto pink tip from cream city corals! Before the new owners got it!

Do you have pics of those Thomas? Those or something like them are all on my hit list!

Lots of people run tanks at 0.2 or 0.1 without GHA with good clean up crew it seems. It is definitely high & too high for Acros, but what I have found from personal experience & also from reading on here a lot of the time phosphates are absorbed into the rock, in the GHA itself, and so when you treat with something like Fluconazole or you add GFO the phosphate number stays the same because the GHA breaks down back into phosphates or the rock leaches phosphates back into the water. For me the only treatment that worked after months was a lot of manual removal of the GHA and then lots of testing over & over of phosphates as I used Phosphate E until I finally saw it dropping. Not saying that's the best way to go about it & Lanthiam Chloride is dangerous to fish, corals, especially tangs but I tried large amounts of GFO & my phosphates increased and Fluconazole and it just kept coming back till I reduced feedings & got my phosphates stable. now they sit at 0.1-0.15 and I have no GHA whatsoever because my CUC takes care of it before it gets bad.

Each tank and system is so different. I agree with all of this. But then you have a tank like man that ran .2 to .4 PO4 and grows acros, but no GHA for nearly 2 years.

These days p04 is .1 or lower and Im convinced everything was happier at the higher number. Still no algae though. Go figure.
