Who's good at boiling eggs? My wife wants some hard-boiled eggs for lunches and she says hers are always hard to peel. How do I earn some "good hubby points" while shes napping with the boy?

I cheat and use an egg cooker. A pin hole in the tip of the egg helps a lot, then an ice bath when theyre done. Roll the egg on a hard flat surface (i.e. Kevin's head) and Crack the shell. Voila!!

Idk why but dishes are my mortal nemesis. Haha luckily theres nothing to wash, but some in the drying board to put away so i'll try that!

Well ladies and gentlemen (and the rest of you too) I'm about to be off to be cultured. We're going symphonying this afternoon so I'll be offline for several hours (and likely more than several pages).

Put salt in the water and then take them straight from the pot when they are done and put them in a bowl with ice and water for 5 minutes. They will peel easily every time.

So you and John both mentioned and ice bath, so I assume thats pretty much essential! I dont think i have any ice currently so i'll get some made and in the meantime i'll clear the drain board

Hopefully! Lavender gives me a headache. Last symphony, some dude sat right behind me after taking a bath in lavender perfume. I had to lean forward the whole time and left with a headache.

Some DUDE was bathed in lavender perfume? This is why I prefer metal concerts and hockey games lol.

First two cups for me just normal Maxwell house one with toasted marshmallow syrup, one with butter pecan syrup.
