I may break out my par meter and do some par readings of my tank tonight with the Nicrew 200s in case anyone's interested. If not I will post them on my thread or I can post them here if anyone was looking at them as a possibility on their tank. I am thinking of testing AB+ and just scale it down. I can tell these lights are bright. I can't imagine how much par it will output at full blast.

I'm also running a modified AB+ or at least what Nicrew is claiming is AB+. I've just reduced the intensity proportionally across the LED channels. I'm a fan of the spectrum so it works out for me but definitely post it, would be fun to compare to my 100's.

I'm getting 100 par on the sand bed all over with my settings which was the goal for me.

Have you had a lot of algae growth. The amount of Red Green & CW has me worried lol. Maybe its not a problem though.

Do you run carbon? I know zoas and soft corals will release stuff into the water to stop growth around them if they are too close. I don't feed my zoas anything and they do fine and my Nitrates & phosphates are nearly identical to yours at around 0.25 on my cube tank.

No it's been no different then what I had with the Red Sea ReefLED 60 g2 on my nano. My rocks have been fairly resistant to the diatom bloom so far. It's just been sandbed and the back wall. I wonder if it's because I cycled them in a Brute can, they had a slimy biofilm on them when I took them out to put in the tank.

No but none of my corals are close to each other I have too much empty space for them to have to be close together.

Woah those phosphates are up there but I don't think they would mind. I have similar PH levels and I'm trying to figure out a good way to solve it.

I wonder if the phosphates are the problem?

My phosphates have always been around .1
Things always do better in a higher phosphate for me .

Ya I don't put too much concern on a high number if everything is happy. I figured it was worth exploring since that was the only thing that jumped out but now we know it wasn't actually 1

What salt do you use? If your tank is mostly soft corals they may be absorbing most of the Iodine out of the system.

I also add Phyto as I hear that helps soft corals.

haha when I get home, I need to play with the lights/time/wind down, I think its winding down right now but I have no idea.

MY LFS gave me a serious par meter to test out my ranges, so maybe I will do some test for science.

Id be very interested to see how that maps out! Please lmk what kind of numbers you're getting.

I wonder if it could be PH related. I know when I moved a frag from one tank to another it did take it a while to settle in but after that it started growing like crazy. I also have colonies that double or tripled in size within 3-4 months. I have some where I literally have frags in the sand that I just give away because they grow so fast.

I have some Salted Agave Zoa's that are starting to pick up speed on growth. It started as one polyp in July and now it is around 9 polyps. That's really my slowest grower though.

Natural ocean water is between 7.5 - 8.5

"blue" light grows algae as well... it's not just red and green

The mag should have trace elements in it too

Just a disclaimer... I am not saying to bump up the intensity of your lights to blast your zoas with 350+ PAR. My zoas weren't happy in lower PAR (150ish), they were extending towards the light. The only place I had open to put them was on top of some rocks. The crown of some of the zoas is maybe two inches under the water. I'll get some pics after I get home.
