What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?

looks like we need to start all over again since it was all lost.

Kephin, may sure you buy your wife Phlowers for Phalentines Day this Phebruary 14th so she will have a Phabulous Day.
Morning again Paul!

Yup, it's exactly the same product as the DIY kits they sell so you can follow the manual for that if you're ever unsure.

That will be nice addition Nano

I may be changing out the mesh today on the Lid. I was waiting for my top lid to arrive for my other tank so I can practice with my old IM 25 lagoon lid to see how easy it will be to remove the old mesh and add the barrier back. There are just so many horror stories of the mesh being too wide for wrasses and other fish so before I move any over I plan to replace that. I think it uses a Spline Gasket to hold it together and in place. Never worked with that before but we shall see.

Uhmmm... you had first hand knowledge of the meltdown before it happened! You could have warned us! 🤣
You know, that would make sense! However, I didn't get a notification until probably 30 seconds before it all went down 🤣

Well, I got a 5% water change done, cleaned the skimmer, made a liter of AFR, moved about two dozen more aiptasia from the display to the aiptasia farm, put five Berghia egg spirals into a separate container for some tests I want to do, set up a rock bucket where I'm going to put three or four of the adult Bergia and a aiptasia infected rock for them to work on, after I let it sit for a while and check it for bristleworms and amphipods. Oh and I ground a bunch of the PETG off the nozzle of the printer with my dremel and a cutting bit, and ordered the micro torch, paid a bunch of bills; Hey, maybe I should get off of R2R once in a while for an hour or so!

So I ran over to Home depot to get a spline roller as I hear that is the best way to do it. I plan to demo it out on my 25 gallon lid first. I could always just add a second layer with the smaller mesh on top of the existing mesh but I think it will look nicer with the 1/8 inch mesh on its own rather than the 1/4 inch mesh and 1/8 inch mesh together

I saw someone had done that but I agree it will be much cleaner look if you removed the old netting first.
