Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I was thinking that. Maybe he was showing the PAR with his lights maxed out. I mean, I am all for higher PAR, but some of those numbers would cook even the highest light loving acros after about 5-6 hours. There is a point where photo inhibition comes into play.
That's exactly what I was worried about when I saw those numbers. You're right though. Im sure the schedule intensity can be reduced.

Well, Corals.com contacted me and one of the trachy’s went down hill this week. I picked another but it was bought a few hours ago. Trying to figure out what I want to do. One of the angles I wanted came in I’ll pick up Saturday.

Sorry to hear about the Trachy but that's a beautiful Angel!

What amount of par should I aim for for Acros on the rocks. I thought acros like 400+ par. The lights were at around 80% for B & V and 20% for W R & G

That’s the one fish I was looking at before my star fish decided to eat the black sponge . I still might get it ? That’s a pretty fish .

Ebli angel …
Kevin let me know if he takes over tank with your tang . I’m wondering if it’s more dominant .

My sexy shrimp didn't make it. My pompom crab is still alive. I don't have time this evening to do another water change because we are getting ready to go to Georgia to rabbit hunt so I put the crab and the rock with mushrooms and the one with one of the zoa colonies in my acclimation boxes in my big tank for now. Not sure if I will start the pico over or just put the pompom in my sump.

Some not so good news.

My Naoko's Fairy Wrasse is not acting right. It's almost like he's injured. There are no signs of illness as he eats and is swimming around the tank. To me it appears that he cant use his tail efficiently, or maybe at all.

Big time bummer

That's perfect if youre going full acro across the top, which would be awesome lol, but the sps you were naming earlier dont necessarily need 500 par at the expense of cooking your LPS that you want to prioritize.
