Some not so good news.

My Naoko's Fairy Wrasse is not acting right. It's almost like he's injured. There are no signs of illness as he eats and is swimming around the tank. To me it appears that he cant use his tail efficiently, or maybe at all.

Big time bummer

off the roof got the big section done with new owen corning underlayment and cleaned each tile and put them back . nailed every other row to prevent a wind disaster...of course the builder did not do this...

The zoas and mushrooms are still closed up the water smelled awful in the little tank. I managed to quickly do another full water change mixed up the sand and rinsed it a bit with clean saltwater then filled it back up with clean water and turned the filter back on. I started just too leave it empty but there are quite a few snails in the sand that might still be alive. I left the corals and pompom crab in the big tank in my acclimation box for now. The pico had a huge amount, as in they were constantly covering the glass, of pods in it that didn't make it so I'm sure between all them dying and the 5 sexy shrimp dying the ammonia spiked way up. I really hope the corals recover I would hate to lose them. They were pretty good sized colonies.

i would check the snails to see if they went to meet their maker....they could be fouling the tank and if you do not get them out it will need to be a complete redo...

Tanks going to be a redo anyways if I decide to keep it running. They are small snails and it's hard to see if they still have a trap door. Didn't have enough time to comb through the sand as I was in a rush because we are going out of town.

dang that first apple martini went down quick making a second....had home made cinnamon rolls this morning..the sugar put me over the top to do the roof....bet it was my girls plan...layed 560 tiles on the new section today...

That's pretty much what the water smelled like that I poured out. If it's that bad again in the morning before we leave I will drain it and put the tank out side until I can clean it up good.
