Thanks Kevin. I hope to get started within the next 60 days. It's just going to be a collection of corals. That way I dont have to worry about what coral is fighting another one, or what to put where lol. Just corals in a tank.

Oh I see now. I missed the tank transfer part of your build thread. I saw the first post for the Red Sea 26 gallon and got confused. You can't take me anywhere lol.

I agree that it was well designed. The back chamber area, which is essential to this particular build, was the best design IMO.

So like I was telling @Mike.

Ive decided to bring the frag tank build out of the idea stage and into the planning/purchasing stage. What I want to do is showcase the benefits and efficiency of a large AIO system, by making a frag tank out of one. No sump, no hobs, all back wall magic (hopefully).

The idea is to light it with one RB meridian and add edge bars if and when needed.

These are the three tanks im considering:

For me I went with the IM SR 80G If you put it in your cart and then wait a few days they offer a $300 gift card from algae barn if you buy it in 24 hours usually, don't do it until your ready though. The reason I liked it is its 47 inches so basically 4 feet which is usually the magic length people say is important for tangs which is what I wanted. The other thing is its not too deep which I love since maintenance is a lot easier. It does seem to be the largest and most expensive of the bunch though. I am a big fan of length and shallowness in the tank though. Also IM is the brand that seems to be the least likely to leak. Not a fan of Aqua top as I bought products wavemakers, etc and they all have failed or broke.
