Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Thank you! I will put it back where it was. I am stressing over these making it too much and may be a bit paranoid because I have lost so many and while I know that's part of reefing it's getting too painful on my bank account.
I completely understand what you mean by this. Ive definitely had to toss some corals in my reefing experience so far. At least your paying attention to the corals and trying to do what's right for them. Just keep an eye on them and unless they start turning very pale, they should be good.

Really you think it would be better there than near the top where is been since I got it? Please help me make up my mind. Lol
Leave it for now, you can always move it up later.

Anacropora for the win!

I just picked up a red monti digitata for my larger tank and neon green anacrapora for $20 a frag. Dipped and added them to the tank to test them out and see if they grow. I also picked up 10 trochus snails.

Trochus are my favorite... 24/7 workers unlike my Ceriths and Nerites. I've never seen them sit in one spot for more than a minute.

Montipora digitata and anacropora are the fastest growing corals in my tank. And they are great contrasts to each other. My digis ate growing in almost a plating branch style pattern, if that makes sense. Then you have some colonies like tbrown's that that have a cool almost antlered look. Great choices

I also have lots and lots of live rock in my middle chamber its pretty much full of rocks. Other than that I have filter socks that I'm replacing soon with filter cups and floss in the first chamber, then in the last chamber I have a couple of small bags of charcoal and the return pump.
Identical to my set up! Once you switch to floss

After doing a lot of research, looks like I am adding two more filter cartridges to my 8 stage rodi system.
Adding two more filters to remove chloramine...
so now will be a 10 stage...
omg

Giving the water treatment plant a run for its money? 😂
