Well the good news is I got the light and the flow for sure with the ability to increase it if need be. My lights are at like 64% and put out like 350-450 par. I also have my two AI Orbit 4s only on around 15% pulsing in a 4 foot tank so its putting out like 5k GPH flow not including the returns and I can easily turn that up in a 4 foot long tank.

Im thinking of adding a small ai blade for the contest. Maybe a 12 or 21 inch. I think I found a mounting clip that allows you to attach a blade to an xr15 rms mount

For the battle box do you usually go with the lowest amount of corals of the highest amount of corals. I see they have the $300 one and you can choose 4 or even 10. I think to avoid shipping I will get the $300 one but not sure...

That's what Im doing. $300 4 piece since Im already getting 3 free, I want 4 studs!

Im basically reefing in an overcrowded 5 gallon bucket, but we'll see how it goes. My wheelhouse corals are usually big fluffy neon things that like mysis shrimp lol

Absolutely! Im really excited to build the battle box. Most the ones I liked are sold out, so Im just gonna give him some color guidelines and ask him to work his magic.

I do like the millepora acros since I like when they have longer polyps and it seems millepora acros always have longer polyps. I hear millepora's are more difficult though too.

I really need a doser though. I was planning to go with a Hydros Start or launch and add a doser to that but just spending too much $$$ lately lol

Raindrops on roses is awesome, on my wishlist too. I dont know what my deal is, but ive never had luck with millies. Never made it a week. Maybe they dont ship as good or something.
